Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter is rich in essential vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids, including vitamins A and E. It helps to strengthen and soften hair, by hydrating and locking in moisture in the hair.

HOW TO USE
Start with a small amount and rub into palms. On clean wet hair, apply conditioner, focusing on hair ends. Rinse clean. For extra conditioning, leave conditioner on hair for 3-5 minutes before rinsing.
~Tip: For those with a dry scalp and/or drier hair try working conditioner through hair from scalp to ends.

My previous nontoxic shampoo and conditioner had started to make my hair super greasy, so I had to make a switch ASAP. I remembered coming across Plaine Products before and wanted to give this low waste option a try. So far, so good! Shipping was quick, products leave my hair feeling clean, and it has a light scent (heavier on the vanilla. I don’t really smell the rosemary or mint at all). I love that you can order a refill and then send back the bottle so you’re not stuck without the product for a week.

I have tried many natural hair care products on my long, thick, wavy locks and have never been satisfied, especially since they are almost always packaged in plastic. That is, until I discovered Plaine Products! Since switching to PP shampoo and conditioner, my hair is feeling softer and looking healthier than ever before. The rosemary/mint/vanilla scent is lovely and super soothing. However, the greatest thing about Plaine Products is the peace of mind I feel knowing I am not supporting horrific single-use plastic. I am such a fan of Plaine Product’s conditioner. As someone with thinner hair, I have always had trouble with more natural products. Conditioning bars never worked for me.
