HERO INGREDIENTS
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice contains 75 nutrients, including 8 essential amino acids, cleansing hair by stripping off oil and residue, while preserving the integrity so your hair is healthier, shinier, and softer.
Chondrus Crispus Extract is a red seaweed extract with film-forming, hair-smoothing, and moisturizing properties. Its long-lasting action moisturizes your hair strands, helping restore damaged hair follicles.

HOW TO USE
Thoroughly wet hair. Lather together a small amount of shampoo and water. Gently massage shampoo into hair, focusing on scalp and roots. Rinse clean.
–Tip: if you want a better lather, add more water, not more product.

Not good for dandruff/dry scalp. I was looking for an eco-friendly option to alternate with my dandruff shampoo, which leaves buildup in my hair. Unfortunately, this just didn’t work for me. The scent is very pleasant and the shampoo lathers nicely. But even alternating, this is just too drying. My flaky scalp worsened and I had to go back to altenating with a different shampoo. Love the conditioner, though!

I am willing to spend more than I normally would for shampoo for several reasons, this shampoo is cruelty free, it is not in a plastic container, and it smells amazing. But the main reason is because I can return the bottle when I order a refill. I wish more companies would do this! Also, I was happy with the amount of lather the shampoo provided. I highly recommend this company and this product.

So far this is the only item I have purchased as I wanted to be sure I liked the results before committing to a number of other products. After about 2 weeks of use I must say I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shampoo and have no qualms about ordering a refill! I was first drawn in by Plaine Products’ initiative to reduce single use plastics and now that I have confirmed the quality I am definitely going to continue to purchase my shampoos and conditioners here. Though I do enjoy the citrus lavender scent I hope to see a wider variety as this company continues to expand. One other small gripe, I wish the price per item were just a tad cheaper. I’m sure there are a number of factors to account for this, but spending almost 4X the amount of a shampoo at the grocery store can make committing to this lifestyle choice harder than it should be for such a good cause. I’m hoping this will change over time but with that said, I do believe it is still a worthwhile investment overall!

I was very cautious to buy this product, but after being diagnosed with cancer at 27 I wanted to watch what I was putting into my body. I tried soap bars first and I just felt like they were tearing up my hair. I was excited to find this shampoo and conditioner. It lathers great and my bleach damaged hair is softer than its ever been. I can’t wait to try the other products when I run out of these. I give 4 stars simply for the price. I wish it was a little cheaper.

I am a hairstylist and I absolutely LOVE this product. I have extremely sensitive, reactive, acne prone skin that I have struggled with for years. Even all natural shampoos with essential oils usually break me out. This is absolutely the only shampoo that I will use on my hair that makes my skin and my hair feel amazing. I have thick curly hair and I can see a genuine difference in the texture in my hair after using this shampoo. I have re-purchaseD this three times already and tell all my clients to buy this product along with the conditioner. Love all the ingredients and how my hair looks. Love the reuse concept and reducing plastic. Scent is great and leaves just the slightest tingle on your scalp-some mint shampoos make your head tingle so bad it feels cold,not an issue with this one. My son and I have thin, straight blonde hair that gets greasy fairly quickly and some natural shampoos don’t clean very well. These have worked great so far and we are on the second bottle.

I’ve been using the rosemary vanilla for a couple of weeks now and I’m sold. I like that it smells nice without being overpowering. It’s fresh and light. I’m on well water and certain shampoos and conditioners didn’t rinse well. I don’t have that problem with Plaine Products. I’m very happy with my purchase.
