HERO INGREDIENTS
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice contains 75 nutrients, including 8 essential amino acids, cleansing hair by stripping off oil and residue, while preserving the integrity so your hair is healthier, shinier, and softer.
Chondrus Crispus Extract is a red seaweed extract with film-forming, hair-smoothing, and moisturizing properties. Its long-lasting action moisturizes your hair strands, helping restore damaged hair follicles.
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil is used to support hair growth. It works to both soften and smooth hair and can help prevent hair breakage.

HOW TO USE
Thoroughly wet hair. Lather together a small amount of shampoo and water. Gently massage shampoo into hair, focusing on scalp and roots. Rinse clean.
–Tip: if you want a better lather, add more water, not more product.

I’ll be honest – I was hoping I’d like this product and the conditioner more than I do based on all the rave reviews. These products are only my second try at zero waste hair care so I still miss the light and smooth feel I got from traditional hair care products. My hair feels heavy and oily right away and it rinses out in a tangle. However, this shampoo is significantly better than the shampoo bar I tried before it. I am still able to go the two days between washes that I always have so I will stick with it at least through the first bottle. I love the zero waste containers and refill option though!

I have been going zero waste & toxin free as my New Year Resolution. I wish all of the changes have been as easy as switching to Plastic-Free hair and body products! I have been loyal to Aveda for over a decade & I wasn’t sure plaine could measure up, but after only one shampoo a comment was made about how soft my hair was! (I’m going gray and hair texture has been the biggest adjustment).
Honestly, of all the changes I have implemented this has been the easiest and smoothest transition. I like the product better than my old shampoo and I love knowing I’m not adding any more plastic into the environment. This is a double win!

Wasn’t expecting to enjoy these products so much! What brought me to try Plaine Products was the zero waste factor, so I sort of had the mind set of “having to suck it up for the planet.” But that was FAR from how it turned out. I have struggled with an itchy, sore ridden scalp for years. Nothing helps! But I’m noticing the itch is less, and the sores are gone!! My scalp feels very clean. I get a slight tingle, but nothing like my head is on fire. I’m very happy. On a huge plus side my daughter who usually used silicone animal tested 🙁 big name products just told me she preferred Plaine Products now too. Double whamy, I’m saving the planet & the animals!!

I have 2A/B wavy hair. I loved this shampoo! It does a great job making my hair feel clean without all the harsh chemicals. I also really liked the smell. It’s not overly perfumy like some products so my husband actually used it too.

I have a ton of hair and am pretty picky about what I use on it. I’m prone to dandruff and can report that so far I’m loving this product and have experienced no flakes! ( the conditioner is great too).

This is absolutely the best shampoo that I have ever used. It smells amazing, it makes my hair SO soft, and doesn’t make it feel greasy like some other natural shampoos can do.

LOVE this product and the smell is so good! I am an earth lover and do my best to be Plastic-Free. I tried the bars and they just leave my hair tangled and in nad shape. This product has been amazing! Not only does it smell and work great, I bundled and got the conditioner and soap deal! I love the idea of being able to return the bottles and know that I did my part to reduce my plastic and any other form of waste! Will buy again and again and I can’t wait to refill again I might try a different scent!

This past year, I had quit using shampoo because I am trying to live a plastic-free life, and it has been an absolute nightmare for my hair. Nothing natural that I tried worked, and I finally realized that my hair needed shampoo. After much research, I found Plaine Products, and I cannot express how happy I am. I have been using this shampoo for 2 weeks now, and my hair is now looking so healthy, shiny and soft. I have super oily hair, and I am able to go three days between washes, which is amazing!
