HOW TO USE
Thoroughly wet hair. Lather together a small amount of shampoo and water. Gently massage shampoo into hair, focusing on scalp and roots. Rinse clean.
–Tip: if you want a better lather, add more water, not more product.

I really love this shampoo, it’s both gentle & effective- I’ve been using it for years now. I adore the rosemary vanilla mint scent, but the cherry almond is really rough- sort of smells like cough medicine, with no hints of almond. I don’t waste anything so I’ve been using it, but I hate the way my hair smells. Really looking forward to running out of this bottle so I can go back to the rosemary vanilla mint that I love so much!

Tried the cherry scent today, OMG AMAZING! Smells like cherry coke 10/10 not too florally. It was also my first time trying this shampoo and was so pleasantly surprised. Usually eco friendly shampoos have a tendency to not actually clean but my hair got squeaky clean with a pleasant amount of suds. When it dried my hair felt so soft and shiny. In the past I tried hibar and while the formula was nice it took a lot to lather and not as convenient as the liquid. For reference I have almost waist length straight hair that’s like medium thick. I also love the take back and that I can feel good about what I’m using!!!

My hair feels really soft from using the shampoo and conditioner. I know I’m cleaning it without any junk. My CG stylist recommended this brand, and finally I think I’ve found something that works for me and I’ll stick with. Also, kudos to the Plaine Products team for quick responses and stellar customer service.

on October 9, 2024 I ordered the travel size of the following: Rosemary-Mint-Vanilla shampoo and conditioner and Citrus-Lavender shampoo and conditioner. I’ve tried all four and have mixed satisfaction with the results. The Rosemary-Mint-Vanilla shampoo is my favorite of the four products. It cleans my hair really well, leaves my hair shiny and has a nice scent. The Citrus-Lavender shampoo is great for a deep clean if you had a lot of buildup from other products in your hair to wash out. The scent is almost too astringent too. It left my hair with a lot of static and not very shiny and clean looking. Of the conditioners, again I liked the Rosemary-Mint-Vanilla best. It is the most moisturizing and left my hair with little static and a healthy shine. I’d still prefer a little more moisturizing however. The Citrus-Lavender conditioner is like an additional cleanser, it leaves my hair hard to comb out and when dry my hairs has static and is too fly away and not very shiny. I’m willing to try the other varieties before dismissing our products completely however and appreciate the aluminum bottles!

I love this shampoo, Ive used it for years and out of all the plastic free alternatives Ive tried this one is by far the best. Ive strayed a few times to try bar shampoo or other brands, but I always come back to Plaine Products. It laters really well and leaves my hair feeling clean without residue. The Rosemary Mint Vanilla really just smells like mint, but it’s still a nice smell that doesn’t linger in my hair, so it’s not overpowering throughout the day. Would 10/10 recommend trying this brand.

I was excited to try an eco-friendly alternative, but the cherry almond shampoo is not working for me. The smell is TOO much, my hair is just as frizzy or even more so, and yes, I gave it about a month for my hair to adjust.
