Our Face Wash gently cleanses skin while removing dirt, oil, and impurities. With daily use, this refreshing vitamin C cleanser will help refine skin’s tone and texture and fight the signs of aging.
HERO INGREDIENTS
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice cleanses the skin by stripping off oil and residue, while preserving the integrity of your skin so it’s healthier, shinier, and softer. Aloe also contains salicylic acid which works as a light and natural exfoliant.
Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract is used for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and hydrating properties.
Sodium Ascorbic Phosphate (Vitamin C) is suitable for all skin types while having all the known benefits of vitamin C. It helps to brighten, even skin tone, and reduce skin blemishes.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea) is a great antioxidant and UV protectant and provides antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects on the skin. It is beneficial for anti-aging and other skin issues such as rosacea, acne, and atopic dermatitis.

HOW TO USE

the bottle design works, and i initially bought this product because of the eco-friendly, reusable and recyclable packaging. however, the citrus scent was pretty basic – i hope they start to carry other scents in the future as i’d prefer something a little more luxe or complex. for reference, i’d tried some Korean face washes in the past, all pretty affordable. second disappoint is that i need around 2 pumps to work up a lather, and even then it’s bare minimum, since i’m trying to make the small bottle last. would appreciate it if it lathered up better. ultimately, i’ll probably stick to the subscription for now, but hope they come up with some new scents or even formulas in the future to try!

Thanks for taking the time to write, we are always considering what new scents to add! As for the lather, our products are aloe based instead of water like most companies. Many people find that they can actually use less product by mixing a little with water in their hands or making sure their face is damp before washing, because we don’t add water our formula is much more concentrated! This should help extend the life of your bottle 🙂

Currently half way through my first bottle and I am absolutely enjoying this. The citrus isn’t to heavy and it makes my skin feel refreshed. Will be getting my refill and perhaps trying out another skincare product as well.

I have acne prone, sensitive, and combination skin. I had a small breakout on my cheek that I couldn’t get to go away. I was using Cetaphil before switching to Plaine since it was gentle. I love the smell of this wash, how gentle it is, and how it leaves my skin glowing! I haven’t gotten a new break out since using it a couple weeks ago! Plaine will be my new skin care provider.

I love the product, but you really don’t get much product for the cost. Unfortunately, being good to the planet is not affordable for everyone.

I have sensitive combination skin that falls more on the oily side. I love this cleanser. It smells divine. I had tried every Plastic-Free facial bar I could. I do have to use a LOT of product to get off my makeup. So I will have to buy it more frequently.

This face wash is great! It’s the first face wash I’ve tried that doesn’t completely dry out my skin! It’s refreshing and the citrus scent is lovely.

Love love 💓 my favorite face wash and favorite plaine product for myself, leaves face clean not squeaky rather dewy and humectified. You can see the aloe! Consistency is similar to Kraves matcha cleanser but without that weird smell rather a nice citrusy 🍊 smell

I’ve had problem skin ever since I can remember, & this cleanser is gentle enough not to cause any irritation or breakouts. A little goes a long way, too as 1-2 pumps suds up nicely. And the scent is clean & mild, as with many other Plaine products. The reusable packaging is an additional bonus.

Have only used about 6 times but so far so good. Was using Cetaphil before because it was a gentle cleanser and haven’t had major breakouts from the switch. Like how it feels on my skin and pair it with rose oil after to moisturize.

Very nice face wash that thoroughly cleanses my skin of oil, dirt and everyday makeup without over-drying. Gentle without letting you down. Great product!
