Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice helps soothe, soften, and hydrate the skin. Aloe also has collagen-producing effects that can help make the skin more elastic and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduces inflammation, puffiness, and dark circles, and can help fade dark spots and acne scars.
Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil is full of nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids that can help diminish signs and occurrences of dry skin. It also contains antioxidant vitamin E
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter provides a deep skin-soothing moisturizer and may also improve the appearance of aging skin.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil contains vitamins E and B and minerals copper, zinc, and chromium as well as iodine, which has antibacterial properties. It can help boost skin’s recovery and restoration processes. It is good for acne-prone skin and is also an outstanding deep moisturizer that can combat stubborn signs of aging.

Echoing what others have stated, I’m enjoying the facial moisturizer. It feels high quality and leaves me feeling soft, not greasy. Though the scent is strong and I really am hoping that they begin offering an unscented option soon or I will not be reordering.

I absolutely love the business model of Plaine Products, and I love how this moisturizer feels. It’s light and perfect for my summer skin. The scent is nice, but way too strong for me. I want to love this lotion, but unfortunately I won’t be recording until an unscented version is available.

I really enjoy the citrus scent of the face moisturizer; it is so refreshing! The moisturizer is not too thick, so it absorbs well without leaving any greasy feeling on the skin. I also appreciate that it has ingredients that help out acne prone skin such as the jojoba oil and aloe! The bottle size is also really nice for travel, and can easily be slipped into a toiletry bag or carried onto a plane!

I buy most of my family’s hair and skincare products from Plaine Products and have for quite some time now, which we enjoy because they contain quality ingredients, are vegan and cruelty free, and they come in reusable/recyclable aluminum bottles. But this moisturizer remains to be one of the only products that does not have a fragrance free offering. That said, I reluctantly continue to purchase it in hopes there will eventually be an option. That said, I will have to make a switch if that time does not come.
