Over the past several months, we have been working hard to make it easier for people to minimize single-use plastics by improving our website. We’re very proud to announce a new website update! Usually, this wouldn’t warrant a blog post – websites change all the time! But we wanted to let you know about it because it makes the checkout process a little different now.
So what’s changed?
Previously, all of our products in our shop were listed as individual items. We had separate pages for all of our different scents for different product lines – for example, we had a different page for the Rosemary Mint Vanilla version of the shampoo and another one for the Citrus Lavender version of the shampoo. Now, we’ve consolidated everything.
Our goal is to make it easier and simpler now to select which scent you want of a product, how often you want it, and to let us know if you need a pump. Choosing pumps has always been a challenge for us as we want to make sure you get what you need but that we aren’t sending people pumps needlessly and adding to waste.
Our new subscription calculator
We’ve also added a new subscription calculator to help people guesstimate how frequently a product may need to be ordered. Right now, we only have this available for our shampoo and conditioner – we want to hear if people find this useful! You simply select “Need Help Choosing a Subscription?” from the product page, provide information about your hair length and how frequently you wash it, and voila! Take this guesstimation with a grain of salt, however. Everyone’s hair is different!
Please note we also do not store any of the information provided in these fields. It is 100% okay to wash your hair as frequently or infrequently as you feel like – there is zero judgment here. We firmly believe in progress, not perfection, in all sorts of facets of life.
