In a time of rapidly increasing use of single-use plastic bottles and disposable masks, we are very proud to announce that we have added hand sanitizer to our product line. These days, we are all more hyper-aware of the necessity to clean our hands regularly and keep them clean to defend against viruses. While soap and water are always the best options for cleaning your hands and washing away viruses and bacteria, when you don’t have access to soap and water hand sanitizers are the next best option. And hand sanitizer that comes in an aluminum, reusable, refillable bottle is an even better option!

Our new hand sanitizer is:

• 70% ethyl alcohol, exceeding the CDC recommendations for hand sanitizing
• Free of toxins, triclosan and palm oil
• Vegan with non-GMO ingredients; it’s blended with whole essential oils (instead of synthetic fragrance)
• Cruelty-Free and Leaping Bunny certified
• Free of single-use plastic
• Effective enough to kill 99.9% of germs and bacteria

The addition of peppermint essential oil adds a more pleasant smell to the hand sanitizer. Peppermint essential oil also has significant antimicrobial and antiviral activities on its own, to help keep you safe and sanitized.

Plaine Products is always dedicated to the elimination of single-use plastics and this is one of the most waste-saving hand sanitizers now available. We currently offer 16 oz bottles and travel size bottles, as long as supplies last. The 16oz bottle can be used to refill the travel size up to 6 1/2 times! 

All this being said: per the CDC’s recommendations, washing your hands with soap and water often is your best bet for staying safe and germ-free. Hand sanitizer is best used in between washing to help prevent germs from getting into your body – especially in situations where you might not be able to wash your hands as easily. When using hand sanitizer, apply the product to the palm of one hand and rub the product all over the surfaces of your hands until your hands are dry. Our travel size is convenient for on-the-go hand cleaning. Our Hand Sanitizer effectively kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria.

Hand sanitizers in the United States are considered over-the-counter drugs and are strictly regulated by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). This has been a project years in the making as we have been working hard to create an FDA-compliant product while still adhering to our own criteria of vegan, toxic-free ingredients.
